Welcome back for Week 2! I hope last week went well for you all & that you had time to relax over the weekend.
Here is this week's "Detailed Social Studies Plan". The expectation is that you will read it completely on Monday, and then plan accordingly. It is set up to reflect the block calendar below with Ms. Morales. Now, if you have an extra 7'ish minutes in your life here is an OPTIONAL video (not part of the 25 minute daily allotments) I made to explain the plan for the week! If you miss seeing me (ha! not too likely) and want to hear a little bit more about the plan (more likely), please check it out. And note how many times I say... "Finally" only to add on more things after - thus making it not final! ;) I am missing all of your lovely faces! And reach out if there is anything you need. And let me know how you are doing. Your physical and mental health is the most important part of this whole "adventure". Welcome back! I really miss seeing your lovely faces! Here is the first post for our new remote learning plan! At the bottom of this post is a visual of how you can layout your block work for the week. THIS IS ONLY a suggestion to help you organize yourself. Please feel free to modify to suit your needs. The plan, at this point, is to post a one page link that lays out all of your "Detailed Social Studies" work for the week on Mondays. The expectation is that you will read through it all every Monday. Ms. Bassett and I are working together, so you will see both our names on the plan. The Detailed Social Studies Plan includes required work (with timing), due dates, supplemental work and office hours. It is meant to be a one page snapshot of your work - all the links you will need are included. Think of it as a checklist to make sure you have everything covered. This week it is based on the schedule below, but again, feel free to modify, as long as you are still getting everything done by the due dates. We will try this for a couple of weeks and then modify if it is not working for the class. Feel free to e-mail me with feedback. And reach out even if it isn't about the schedule. This is going to be a new and possibly bumpy ride for us all. Your physical and mental health is the most important part of it! We will get through this together! **for other ways to schedule your time, click here to see a couple of options the fabulous Ms. Morales put together!
